Launch of New Tube Prepping Machines

These rugged, high powered machines can face, internal bevel, external bevel and weld remove on a wide range of materials including stainless steel and other exotic alloys. The Thunderbolt is a high powered machine designed to cover tube and pipe work from 12.5mm to 89mm OD. The Lightning extends this range up to 115mm.

Drawing on our vast experience in the production of tube bevelling equipment these new machines have been engineered to offer several improvements over our previous equivalents.

Completely new pneumatic motors are smaller and lighter without sacrificing power or torque and have the added benefit of being quieter in operation.

The machines are fitted with a hand wheel feed mechanism, which when paired with the improved speed control allows the skilled operator to balance’ his cut to obtain the best possible finish in the minimum time.

The new cutter heads utilise modern work-holding technology to reduce the time needed to change cutters. This system also ensures optimum clamping of the cutter bit in any position within the head.
