Company Profile
Rational Automation Ltd. was founded by Bernard Pilliner in 1957, responding to the increasing need for automated process machinery required by the rapidly expanding bakery and food production industry. Bernard’s untimely death in 1971 left Brian Partridge with the full responsibility of carrying Bernard’s innovative designs to most of the world’s leading bakeries.
Since that time the company has increased and improved its product range, aiding the reduction of costly manual labour processes and replacing obsolete machinery with highly reliable and efficient equipment to also satisfy today's demanding legal and consumer standards.
Rational Automation supplies to all the world's major food manufacturers. Household brand names regularly use our products, endorsing the Rational reputation for reliability and durability at an affordable price.
The company moved into the BSA-Regal Group in 1995. By taking full
advantage of the Group’s famed engineering expertise we can sustain the
technical advances and improvements which characterise Rational.
